Ate here for the first time last night. Split the rigatoni vodka and rosemary pie w/a friend. Both dishes were delicious. The pizza crust was perfect. Reminded me of a Napoli style pizza. The staff was very nice. I'm Italian and I don't go out to eat Italian food a lot because I can make it at home but I will definitely be back! We really enjoyed our first experience there.
Had a great time for dinner tonight. The bolognese and the arancini were outstanding! Our server Sean/Shawn was great. He had a good amount of other tables but was still super polite and attentive to us. Some of the best service I have expected in a while. Really enjoyed his his restaurant and I will highly recommend it to everyone I know.
I was motivated to dine at this restaurant because of a promo that came up on my Instagram (20% off my meal Tuesday-Thursday) We had a great experience at Corbo & Sons. Our serverJess was nice and very helpful. Jess served our food in a good timely manner and was helpful by answering some of the questions we had. The restaurant is clean has great decor. The food tasted very fresh and had unique flavors. We love the Fried Calamari and Bolognese Pasta. Good price for the type of restaurant and for what you get. Will definitely be back.
Nice ambiance, good food, accommodations and service. Our party of 6 came out Friday night to dine in. We originally had a 5:30pm reservation but they were able to accommodate us at 6:30 instead. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted with a friendly host and then we were seated right away. We sat in a booth which was very comfortable. We started with the beet salad - it had pistachio gremolata, citrus vinaigrette, and ricotta. It is a must try! We also shared the Insalata Mista - it was very fresh but was lacking the dressing. For our main entree we shared Nonno Pizza and added mushrooms to it. See photos. The dough was delicious and crispy. For dessert, we shared the Olive Oil Cake (So moist - again a must try) and Cheesecake. Everything was washed down with bottle of Wine (BYOB), water, and Coffee. We like the Holmdel location but the Shrewsbury location is closer and ambiance is more warm and inviting! It was a nice night out!
UPDATE- After visiting multiple times, Corbo and Sons never disappoints. The specials tonight were particularly satisfying after a hard workout at the new Lifetime nearby. Jess was spot on with friendly and charming service. —— Corbo and Sons is such a great addition to the Red Bank area. It’s tucked at the back of the Shrewsbury Village Shops so don’t miss it. We had their amazing Caesar and beet salads (both visits) and a variety of their fresh pasta and entrees. The bolognese was also a repeat. Everything is prepared with attention to detail, like my airline chicken breast and the super fresh anchovies for the caesar. Richard and team have created a gem of a restaurant; and Juan’s service was friendly and top notch. BYOB makes it a particularly special, yet affordable, night out.
I must say, when I visited this place, I was shocked with their food, and it was delicious. The place doesn’t look as nice as the pictures posted. The music is good and it feels like a local spot. The service was good but I felt there were times it would have been nice if we were attended more often. I’m looking forward to visiting again.
I booked Corbo and Sons for a private party held yesterday. It was absolutely wonderful. The owners are delightful. The food was delicious. Everyone was very complimentary. The service was excellent and the restaurant is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant. I am looking forward to going back for dinner and would book them again for another party.
Absolutely delicious food. Huge wow to the ravioli and corn dish. Steak was perfect and flavorful. Small restaurant really nice inside with happy staff. Great meatballs and pizza as well. Really good food. Must try spot.
